There are 2 major options for students after matriculation in Germany:

1. Ausbildung program (vocational training)

  • This is a 3-year paid training program.
  • You get a stipend (€800–€1,200/month).

2. Studienkolleg (foundation year)

  • In Germany, there is a 1-year foundation course before the Bachelor's.
